Ancient Forgotten Fragments 1

The “Ancient Fragments” Series is focusing on the incomplete aspect of our ever-changing mind. Either for forgotten memories, erased thoughts, or abandoned dreams, as evolving entities, we only very rarely have an immaculate vision of these sinking elements. That aged fragmentation of our spirit is represented by abstract agglomerations of metallic textures contained in a geometric composition dyed with tea.

Tea bags are ornate by those precious pieces, assembled with cotton threads in a repetitive and structured grid representing our desire to hold onto them, archiving these elements to the best of our abilities in our fluctuating mind.

This forgotten version, enhanced with Copper leaves, embodies the disappearing nature of our disappearing memories. Scared of seeing them evaporates through the meanders of time, we scarcely try to hold on to them, loosing elements and recomposing them as our wits can.

Each artwork is signed, and a certificate of authenticity is placed at the back.
